Final Project Conceptualization

As a storyteller and writer it is important for me to create an emotive and genuine experience for the users who play the games that we create.

Because the teams are currently uncertain from when I’m writing this piece, it will be updated once there is more certainty. It will either be a continuation of the game development of Mariya and I’s Wine Project Idea, where we struggled with coding and will apply the complex ideas that we intended. If we end up joining other members of the class, I will be open-minded to their ideas!

Assuming we stick to the Wine Project:

We will implement the original ideas of the puzzle-solving by making wine, reading notes to figure out the valuable story and furthermore apply the suggestions we received in class to make the level have an obvious end. The main idea is to have the wall behind the barrel where the wine is made open up once the wine is released and let you out into a gorgeous outside world from where you were accidentally trapped into the cellar.

The Game Art Design will stay in the same rather moody but light and fun direction that we had initially created. We intend to save some time getting 3D resources from Unity as well as continuing to make our own versions of whatever we need.

Project management will be a bit more complex, and will require a lot of coding and debugging to pull off. It will be a learning process. For now we will go off of the development schedule we had on the original class excel.
